The KX-T7000 Series comprises three different systems with varying capacities from 3 to 12 exchange lines and 8 to 32 extensions. Designed to be adaptable, the KX-T7000 Series gives you complete control over your system which can be easily updated.

A central control unit houses the system’s state-of-the-art facilities, and its hybrid working provides the ability to connect peripheral equipment such as answering machines, faxes and printers and even basic telephones as well as the system’s proprietary key telephones.

Because all these features are centralised, upgrading from one system to the next couldn’t be easier. With the KX-T7000 Series, you can develop your system whilst protecting your existing investment in your telephone equipment.

Also manufactured by Panasonic, the KX-TD system range offers additional exchange line capacity - up to 24 lines currently, and up to 128 extensions. The KX-TD also offers ISDN facilities including Calling Line Identification (CLI), Call Charge Information (CCI) and many other benifits, as well as complementing the facilities that you have already enjoyed with the KX-T7000 Series.

One of the strongest features of the system is its ability to provide maximum flexibility and handset options within the office environment. The KX-T system can be configured with any combination of KX-T7000 series key telephones, standard telephones, cordless telephones, facsimiles, modems etc.This enables access to a wider range of facilities such as connection of a Credit Card Reader or even access to the Internet.

As well as being able to answer calls, hold and transfer at any extension, the KX-T7000 series can provide full switchboard operation. This enables fast and efficient call handling whilst enabling the operator to have visual indication of all lines and extensions.

The KXT7000 series key telephones can provide wide ranging flexibility to the user. Each extension can easily handle, hold, and transfer multiple calls and lines. Visual indication of extensions also provides instant status indication as to the availability of other members of staff.

The system has a built in paging facility which enables each key telephone to act as a speaker when not in use. There are a number of paging zones to help locate staff around the office. Voice calls can be made to certain individuals with hands free answerback which is useful for secretaries to page their bosses, for example.

The KXT system can be programmed to take advantage of the most cost effective network carriers.

By attaching a printer or call management system to the KX-T system a detailed record of all incoming and outgoing calls can be kept. This combined with individual and system wide call barring the KX-T system call and cost management.

To help improve call handling during out of office hours and off peak periods the system can be switched to an alternative ringing pattern. On the KX-T1 232 and KX-T616 this can also change the call barring programming to help prevent call abuse.

This facility allows external callers to dial directly to the extension they require, after following the guidance message issued by the system.This helps to ease the load of a busy operator, and connects calls quickly and easily to the caller’s chosen extension.

All the KXT7000 series key telephones can be used with the digital ISDN compatible KX-TD system range, should your system requirements change in the future.

Each key telephone has a number of illuminated keys to show the status of either exchange lines or extensions. Red indicates busy, green depicts the line you are using.

Calls that are not answered within a specified time can be set to ring a secondary extension or group of extensions. This helps enable improved customer service particularly during peak operator periods.

The KXT system may be set for group hunting so that all calls will be answered by the first available extension. This is useful for sales and customer service departments.
